Caran d'Ache Eco Ballpoint Pen

Writing Sample

Caran d'Ache are a Swiss company known for their fine writing instruments especially their gold and jewlled pens. The eco ballpoint is priced at the lower end of their range.

Caran d'Ache Ballpoint

The hexagonal barrel allows for easy grip and stops the pen from slipping out of your hand. The pen writes with a thin line, this allows for finer writing in small spaces.

A good thing about this pen is that it is refillable (hence the eco part of the name). It also comes in four colours (blue, black green, and red), now I could be wrong about how many colours the pen is available in but on Cult Pens it is 4.

As I mentioned I bought the black and the blue on Cult Pens for £2.95 each. These pens do write quite nicely and are now a staple in my pencil case.

Uni Ball SIgno Standard

(Disclosure: I have not been asked by companies to review anything, these are my own opinions regarding stationery that I have bought myself)

I bought these pens a while back and thought I would write up a review of them

Uni Ball Signo Standard Pens

The design is quite simple, and you can see quite clearly how much ink is left in the pen. What grabbed my attention was the design of the pen, how simple it was but it still catches your eye.

Writing Sample

The pens write quite well and no sign of any lines through the ink, they also don't blob which is a good point, and they don't feel scratchy on the paper.

Bleed through

As you can see the bleed through is minimal (and even this could be because I push down quite hard when I write)

Uni Ball Signo Standard

I will admit I love these pens, they write out in bold colours and they don't bleed through the paper, and the look of them are so simple but brilliant.

Cult pens

I went on Cult Pens and saw some pens that made me go ooh, so I made a purchase.

Faber-Castell - Textliner Dry

I thought I would try these dry textliners to see if they were any good (and because they were in pencil form they won't bleed through the page).

Staedler Textsurfer Gel

I thought I would also give these gel highlighters a go as the description said that they would not bleed through and that they were inkjet safe.

Zebra Z1 Ballpoint Pen

I love the Zebra Z1 they write really well and are inexpensive (I will be doing a stationery must have on these in the future so keep an eye out)

Schneider Slider Reload

I love Schneider pens, and with their slider range you really can't go wrong.

My Week: Week 13

Here is Week 13:

Week 13: 1st Half

The first section was quite quiet, made my first order on Cult Pens (Love this website), made a recipe list as I was making Creme Egg Cupcakes for my family when they came for a visit for Easter on Saturday.

Week 13: 2nd Half

As you can see my second half got a lot busier, it was pay day so an order was made to Artbox (love the rilakkuma stuff very cute) I also made a list of kindle books I wouldn't mind getting for April.

The big event of the week was of course Easter, but Doctor Who was back (I love Doctor Who)

Creme Egg Cupcakes

And here is my Creme Egg Cupcakes, they didn't turn out like I wanted them too but have made notes for next time.
